About Us

Barrio Tacos + Tequila + Whiskey is a high-volume restaurant and bar known for premium tequila, whiskey, and delivering fast, consistent service in a high-energy environment. We are seeking an experienced Bartender ready to step into a leadership role as a Shift Supervisor.

Position Overview

The Bartender / Shift Supervisor is responsible for executing efficient bar service while assisting with daily operations, team leadership, and maintaining service standards. This role combines high-volume bartending with supervisory responsibilities during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

Bartending
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately according to company standards.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of tequila, whiskey, beer, wine, and cocktail offerings.
  • Manage multiple orders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
  • Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and company policies.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and end-of-shift reconciliation accurately.
Leadership & Supervision
  • Lead front-of-house team members during assigned shifts.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain service speed, cleanliness, and operational standards.
  • Train and support new team members.
  • Resolve operational issues and support smooth shift execution.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, kitchen staff, and service teams.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and product control.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, tequila, whiskey, beer, and cocktails.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain).
