Who We Are

While our restaurant is centered around Japanese Wagyu and open fire cooking, our cuisine is built on a foundation of respect for seasonality, high quality ingredients, advanced techniques and a focus on sound cooking skills.

The Role
The Bartender is a vital front-of-house position at Niku Steakhouse, responsible for delivering world-class hospitality, flawlessly executing our beverage program, and supporting the bar team. This role requires technical skill, precise recipe replication, and an unpretentious commitment to service at the highest level.
Responsibilities
Receives orders from waitstaff serving tables on the floor while managing the patrons at the bar.
Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
Ensures that opening and closing tasks are completed to the standards of the bar.
Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized with the assistance of the team.
Follows all established POS procedures and strict cash handling practices.

Qualifications
Extensive bartending experience of at least three years, preferably in a high-volume, Michelin-starred, or high-end fine dining craft cocktail program.
In-depth knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and drink recipes.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with and contribute to a fast-paced team.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to bar operations.
Proficiency in using POS systems and cash handling procedures.
