Job Description

Hilton Grand Vacations is seeking a professional and guest-focused Bartender (Part-Time) to join our Food & Beverage team at our Waikoloa property. In this role, the Bartender will prepare and serve beverages while delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards
  • Demonstrate knowledge of liquors, mixers, wines, and beer
  • Provide attentive, friendly, and timely service to guests
  • Accurately take orders and process payments for beverages and lounge food service
  • Set up bar area at the beginning of each shift and ensure readiness for service
  • Restock and rotate inventory to maintain proper supply levels
  • Maintain compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Clean and maintain bar equipment, glassware, and workspaces
  • Prepare garnishes and ensure quality presentation of beverages
  • Complete opening and closing duties
  • Maintain full knowledge and proficiency in Agilysys POS systems and end-of-shift reporting
  • Perform cashier functions, including ringing up purchased items accurately
  • Process credit card, voucher, and room charge transactions with a high level of accuracy
  • Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of all transactions at the end of each shift
  • Balance and report all credit cards, vouchers, and room charges in accordance with established departmental procedures
  • Carry out special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by management

  •  High School Diploma/GED
  • Must meet all local and state requirements for serving alcohol
  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Experience with Agilysys POS system strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of beverage preparation and service standards
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Basic math and cash handling skills
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate weights
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
