Teach Basic Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide courses.
Position Duties
Essential functions may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare course outlines.
- Teach Courses.
- Institute a consistent evaluation process.
- Maintain accurate student records.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information according to FERPA guidelines.
- Manage student conduct according to policy and procedure.
- Support College policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of LPN, RN preferred, with at least two (2) years clinical experience; current license required; in addition to two (2) years long term care experience or experience supervising and teaching CNA’s. Formal or informal teaching experience preferred. A formal offer for the position is contingent upon State approval of credentials and experience.

- Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Standards — Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
- Documenting/Recording Information — Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form.
- Performing General Physical Activities — Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
