Job Description

About the Department

Teach Basic Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide courses.

Position Duties

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prepare course outlines.
  • Teach Courses.
  • Institute a consistent evaluation process.
  • Maintain accurate student records.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information according to FERPA guidelines.
  • Manage student conduct according to policy and procedure.
  • Support College policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of LPN, RN preferred, with at least two (2) years clinical experience; current license required; in addition to two (2) years long term care experience or experience supervising and teaching CNA’s. Formal or informal teaching experience preferred. A formal offer for the position is contingent upon State approval of credentials and experience.

  10. Documenting/Recording Information — Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form.
  11. Performing General Physical Activities — Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
