    Noon-Duty Supervisor

    Hours:                                         Monday - Friday, 11:15am - 12:45pm

    DEPARTMENT:                           Supplementary Staff

    JOB TITLE:                                 Noon-Duty Supervisor

     GENERAL DESCRIPTION:       Monitors and responds to student needs and behavior at meal times. 

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    A.    Education Level:               High school diploma or equivalent

    B.    Experience Desired:         N/A 

    C.     Physical Requirements:  This position requires intermittent crouching, grasping, hearing, holding, repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers, opening, pulling, pushing, reaching, speaking, standing, talking, turning and walking.  Frequent bending over and carrying are also required.

    D.    Other Requirements:       Basic First Aid and Excellent Interpersonal Skills

    REPORTS TO:                           Principal

    RECEIVES GUIDANCE FROM:  

     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

    1. Monitors and responds to student behavior at meal times.
    2. Reports incidents requiring discipline.
    3. Helps with clean up.
    4. Administers first aid.
    5. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
    6. Transitions students to recess and supervises until teachers come out for supervision.

    B.      Climatic Environment:

             Occasionally subjected to cold temperatures below 32 degrees when removing or storing food in freezer.  Often subjected to atmospheric conditions of odors and airborne particles.  Continuously wears special clothing in accordance with prescribed dress code & sanitary guidelines. 

    C.      Hazards: Occasionally subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical hazards and extreme heat.  Caution also required to avoid potential burns.
