Behavior Technician (RBT) – Leesburg, Virginia

Job Type: Part-time (Less than 30 hours per week)
Location: In-person – Leesburg/Ashburn, Virginia
Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll work one-on-one with clients to support skill development, communication, and independence using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.

 

About the Role

As an RBT, you’ll provide individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will work closely with clients to implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and help develop essential life, communication, and social skills in a supportive and structured environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision

  • Collect and accurately record session data

  • Support skill development and work toward behavior-reduction goals

  • Maintain professionalism and build positive relationships with clients and families

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to ABA and special education

 

Qualifications

  • Current RBT Certification (preferred)

  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)

  • Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)

  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required)

  • Experience with behavior management and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred)

  • Background in special education, psychology, or a related field (beneficial)
