Job Description

Sales Representative 

Hours: Monday - Friday, Full-Time
 
Salary: Base + Bonus 
 

Job Description: This position is accountable for producing maximum sales and distribution of draught and/or package products and providing quality service to all customers on an assigned route. The Sales Representative’s primary duties include implementation of approved Company programs and policies that will result in the achievement of sales volume and merchandising goals while effectively presenting the Company’s brands to the retailer and the consumer. The Sales Representative is expected to monitor and control inventory levels for each account by conducting a physical inventory and restocking all coolers and in store space and displays to provide maximum availability of products while maintaining quality control and freshness standards. The Sales Representative is responsible for negotiating, obtaining, maintaining and updating all Point-of-Sale materials at each retailer’s location. The Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining current knowledge of all suppliers’ brands and packages, pricing information, and promotional/marketing activities. The Sales Representative is responsible for learning the retailer’s business and customer base in order to maximize the partnership between that retailer and the Company. The Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining strong, productive relationships with all customers to facilitate sales. The Sales Representative will be expected to meet the standards established in the Structured Sales Processes and will also be responsible for training and coaching Trainee Sales Representatives to meet those same Standards.

Basic Qualifications: Qualified applicants will have communication, merchandising, and selling skills. A Class E drivers license is required with the ability to show proof of insurance and safe driving in personal vehicle. Applicants will have a track record for work ethic, basic computing skills and excellent customer service. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Education: High school education required.

Experience:

  • Route/selling experience preferred
