Works under the supervision of the Manager of Biomedical Engineering. Performs routine maintenance and repair of patient care equipment based on safety and manufacturer standards, and keeps accurate record of that maintenance and repair. Assists with training newly hired Biomedical Technicians.

 

Education, Work Experience and Licensure:

 

· Associate degree in electronics, microcomputers, biomedical technology, other related degree or equivalent military training program required; bachelor’s degree preferred

 

· 3 years of related experience and knowledge of federal, state, and local codes
