Stars Therapy Services is a bilingual, family-centered early intervention program serving children from birth to age eight throughout San Diego County. We work in-home with families to provide meaningful, culturally responsive ABA services that help every child reach their full potential.
We are hiring a full-time BCBA Clinical Supervisor to help lead a team of RBTs and help shape care plans for children with autism and related developmental delays. Definition
Under the supervision of Clinical Director and Director of ABA and Development the BCBA Clinical Supervisor provides expertise and early intervention instruction with an emphasis on behavior analysis, to children and families enrolled in the California Early Start Program for the San Diego Regional Center and other funding sources.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains productivity compliance as outlined per company guidelines and/or needs.
Designs, implements, and evaluates individualized treatment intervention plans and skill acquisition programs.
Conducts functional behavior assessments (FBAs), skills assessments, and other behavior analytic evaluations as appropriate.
Analyzes consumer data to identify trends, measure treatment effectiveness, and make data-driven clinical decisions.
Provides ongoing caregiver training to promote treatment consistency and skill generalization across environments.
Provides ongoing clinical supervision of assigned consumer cases to ensure treatment effectiveness, medical necessity, and progress toward individualized goals.
Completes Initial Assessments, Treatment Plans, Progress Reports, Reassessments, Authorization Requests, Discharge Reports, and other required clinical documentation within established timelines.
Maintains current knowledge of ABA research, best practices, and BACB ethical standards.
Ensures services are delivered in accordance with BACB Ethics Code, funding source requirements, company policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Conducts fidelity assessments, field observations, and coaching to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Utilizes Natural Environment Teaching (NET), family-centered practices, and caregiver coaching strategies to support skill acquisition and generalization within daily routines.
Promotes a family-centered philosophy and respect for cultural diversity.
Provides clinical supervision, mentorship, and performance feedback to Interventionists, Lead Interventionists, Program Supervisors, RBTs, BCBA candidates, and other assigned clinical staff.
Serves as a clinical resource to staff regarding behavior analytic principles, intervention strategies, and family-centered practices.
Serves as a liaison with the School Districts and/or other clinical professionals to facilitate services for the consumer and their families
Attend and participate in staff meetings, training, and in-services for Stars Therapy Services
Participates in Social Groups, Group Parent Education workshops, and IEP Meetings, as assigned (including Saturdays)
Collaborates with leadership regarding staff performance, training needs, and service quality initiatives.
Other duties as assigned based on company needs
Minimum Qualifications
M.A. Degree and educational coursework completed in the areas of: Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field is required
Active BCBA license (required) with 2-5 years experience
Positive and solution-focused approach that leads to amazing growth for Stars Therapy Services® clients and families
Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
Other Requirements
California driver's license
Proof of car insurance in employee's name and current address
Must be CPR Certified (Adult, child, infant, AED) & First Aid
Must be willing to submit driver's license and fingerprints for background check
Must be able to submit verification of legal rights to work in the U.S. upon hire
Must be willing to work full-time with some weekend
