Job Description

Body Shop Estimator 

The Motor Company is a locally owned Ford dealership in Marinette, Wisconsin, and we're looking for an organized, customer-focused professional to join our team as a Body Shop Estimator.

This is an outstanding opportunity to take on a key leadership role in our collision center. Our current estimator has been promoted within the company and will provide hands-on training to ensure a successful transition for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

As our Body Shop Estimator, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the body shop, including:

  • Writing accurate repair estimates using industry estimating software
  • Working directly with insurance companies throughout the estimate and repair process
  • Managing insurance approvals and payment processing
  • Scheduling repairs and coordinating shop workflow
  • Communicating with customers to provide updates and ensure an exceptional experience
  • Ordering and tracking parts as needed
  • Coordinating with technicians to keep repairs moving efficiently
  • Maintaining quality standards and ensuring repairs are completed on time
  • Assisting with administrative duties and documentation
  • Helping identify opportunities to improve shop efficiency and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

  • Previous automotive experience and especially collision repair or body shop experience is strongly preferred, however we will train the right candidate
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable working with computers and learning dealership management and estimating software
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Valid driver's license
