Body Shop Technician

Key Responsibilities




  • Perform high-quality repairs on vehicle body and structural components to restore them to factory specifications.

  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to assess damage and determine repair needs.

  • Conduct welding, straightening, sanding, painting, and refinishing work as required.

  • Collaborate with estimators, insurance adjusters, and team members to ensure accurate and timely repairs.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

  • Stay updated on industry techniques, tools, and technologies through training and certifications.

  • Uphold Bergstrom’s commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.



Schedule: shifts ranging from Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm

Pay: Pay based on experience with an earning potential exceeding $100,000/year! Our average Body Shop A-Tech earns $70,000-$120,000 annually. 



Qualifications




  • Proven experience as a body shop technician with advanced-level skills in collision repair.

  • Certifications such as I-CAR, ASE, or equivalent are highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment, including welding and measuring systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently without compromising quality.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
