Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Truck Collision Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, repairing, and restoring commercial trucks to pre-accident condition. This role requires expertise in bodywork, frame repair, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and assess damaged commercial trucks to determine repair needs.
  • Perform collision repairs, including bodywork, paint prep, mechanical, and fabrication.
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment for repairs, including welders, hydraulic jacks, plasma cutters, and oxy/fuel cutting tools.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair progress and any additional work required.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in collision repair techniques.


 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in collision repair is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a collision technician, preferably with commercial vehicles.
  • Proficiency in using collision repair tools and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle structure and repair processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
