What You?ll Do:
- Operate a box truck to transport building materials to assigned job sites.
- Load, unload, and secure materials to ensure accurate deliveries.
- Follow designated routes & schedules for on-time deliveries.
- Verify materials upon delivery and document any discrepancies.
- Maintain delivery records & log shipments in company systems.
- Conduct pre-trip & post-trip inspections (DVIR) and report any issues.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, HOS, and company safety policies, including ELD use.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and job site personnel.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as staging and organizing materials as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and experience with CRM software.
- Experience in logistics, trucking, or warehouse operations.
- Understanding of DOT safety, HOS, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective time management and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
- Awareness of ergonomic principles and ability to adhere to safety standards.
- Strong ability to operate and troubleshoot tablets, smartphones, and other digital tools for daily tasks, including data entry, scheduling, and reporting.
Requirements:
- At least 21 years old
- Ability to lift 100+ lbs. repetitively.
- Employment eligibility.
- Valid license with an approved driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card in compliance with federal regulations.
- Must be able to legally and safely operate a vehicle across state lines on a daily basis, or as needed.
