Job Overview
The Box Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods and materials in a timely, safe, and efficient manner using company-provided box truck (typically Class C or under 26,000 lbs GVWR).
Roles & Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
Operate a truck to deliver goods to customers, warehouses, or business locations.
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment or by hand when required.
Follow a designated delivery route and maintain a timely schedule.
Perform pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and customer receipts.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.
Ensure goods are secured properly and handle all cargo with care.
Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
Keep the vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualification

Education and/or Experience
No education requirement
Previous experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle preferred.
Experience using GPS and delivery tracking systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a clean driving record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs or more).
Strong attention to detail and time management.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.

Work is primarily performed on the road and at delivery sites. May involve exposure to varying weather conditions. Requires frequent standing, bending, lifting, and driving.

Compensation and Shift:
Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
$24- $25 per hour
