Job Summary

 Oversee production and personnel in the Brewing Department second shift. 

Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

Beer Production:

  • Support brewing and filtration functions to achieve brewing schedule. 

Personnel:

  • Supervise all aspects of the personnel on shift, to include work direction, training, and coaching. Serve as resource and decision making authority. 

Administration:

  • Conduct shift change hand offs, including clear communication and safety training. 
  • Ensure inventory of materials to achieve production schedule. 
  • Data entry. 
  • Review quality data and conduct sensory analysis for all shift production.
  • Communicate with the Packaging, Quality Assurance and Maintenance departments throughout the shift to accomplish the production schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates Degree and/or brewing studies preferred. Will consider high school diploma with combination of work experience to include technical brewing knowledge and frontline leadership.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a production facility; beverage/food production experience preferred.
  • Possess excellent communication, planning and organizational skills. 
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership and team orientation.
