Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing administrative support for MMPA’s bulk milk customers and MMPA dairy producers.
Responsibilities
- Enter daily producer milk manifests
- Resolve weight sheet discrepancies with customer
- Confirm daily weights with customers
- Assisting with producer edit reports
- Complete daily report reconciliation
- Identify production gaps and follow up with dispatch on missing weight sheets
- Interface daily with outside customers on weight sheets
- Confirm advance and month end check out reports with dairy customers
- Perform other duties as required.
Education and Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year program; three to four years of relevant work experience. This experience could be in a combination of disciplines such as bookkeeping, inside sales, dispatch, customer service, or data-entry or equivalent combination of education experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong PC skills including proficiency in excel is necessary
- Strong planning, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Demonstrated initiative and desire to learn about the dairy industry
- Aptitude for gaining knowledge
- Ability to foster knowledge exchange within and with other departments
- Collaborative communication approach
- Utilize sound judgment
