Job Purpose:

The Bull Durham Bar Server  is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests by providing a welcoming atmosphere, taking accurate drink orders, and ensuring a high-quality dining experience. The role involves working collaboratively with the bar and restaurant team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar area, while adhering to all health and safety regulations.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive.

  • Accurately take and deliver drink orders, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the bar menu, including cocktails, wines, and other beverages.

  • Prepare and serve drinks according to the established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every order.

  • Provide recommendations and answer any questions guests may have regarding the bar menu, demonstrating a deep understanding of the offerings.

  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning countertops, and restocking supplies as needed.

  • Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.

  • Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, seeking to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.

  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.

  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of the bar area for special events or functions, as required.

  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to bar service and hospitality.

  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and handle cash or credit card payments securely and efficiently.

  • Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and promoting a culture of excellence and service.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager.
