Business Analyst

Miron Construction Co., Inc. | Neenah Office

DEPARTMENT: Information Technology

JOB CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time

FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

REPORTS TO: Director, Information Technology or Applications Developer Lead

POSITIONS SUPERVISED: None

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 25% 

WORK SCHEDULE: Day Shift

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The business analyst acts as the main point of contact for applications users when they encounter an issue. This position finds solutions and communicates best practices to resolve all user issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manages and prioritizes employee inquiries and provides solutions, training, and direction on reported issues.

  • Conducts meetings with vendors on the company's behalf to gather information and best practices for company applications. Serves as the main point of contact for vendors and communicates feedback as needed.

  • Duplicates common application issues to demonstrate, document, and test the problem in order to develop solutions.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or any combination of educational and professional experience that would meet the responsibilities listed above.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with team members company-wide.

  • Ability to multitask, work efficiently both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, and learn and adapt quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to facilitate and manage communication between team members and technological and development teams.

  • Experience with project management as well as customer service skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Primarily an office environment with occasional project site visits.

Over 2/3 of your time will be spent sitting, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talking or hearing. Our office environment requires extensive computer work and the use of the phone.
