We’re looking for a Business Development Director to promote business development and lead sales activities.

Focused on the EMEA market. This is a hands-on and strategic role for a GTM leader capable of navigating complex B2G (Business-to-Government) and B2B (OEM/Integrator) sales cycles while effectively communicating our unique technology and value proposition.

Responsibilities - what you’ll be doing:

  • Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate EMEA and other key markets
  • Pipeline Management: Own the full sales cycle for high-value contracts, navigating government procurement processes, tenders (RFPs/RFIs), and pilot programs in EMEA, while promoting opportunities in other key markets
  • Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate deep relationships with vehicle OEMs and prime contractors to integrate our autonomous stack
  • Value Selling: Articulate the operational and financial impact of our solution to different customers – from growers to OEMs and technical procurement officers
  • Market Intelligence: Provide feedback from the field to the Product and R&D teams regarding mission requirements, competitive landscape, and emerging autonomy trends
  • Representation: Represent Bluewhite at major global events, industry panels, and live field demonstrations
  • Drive and qualify new leads across different channels
  • Work directly with leadership, marketing, and the product team on GTM strategy, content, and strategic messaging
  • Report to the Chief Business Officer (based in the U.S.), providing strategic visibility and performance insights

Requirements

Requirements - does this describe you?

  • 7+ years of sales or business development experience specifically within Automotive, Defense Tech, Aerospace, or Unmanned Systems
  • Deep experience working in EMEA with local customers and vendors
  • Demonstrated success in closing multi-million dollar B2G contracts or strategic B2B partnerships
  • Ability to grasp and explain complex concepts related to AI, autonomy, and robotics (you don’t need to be an engineer, but you must speak their language)
  • Ability to develop and maintain a go-to-market strategy, sales enablement tools, lead qualification, dealer/distributor development, and partnerships management
  • Using AI tools and techniques daily, curious about new capabilities to improve work, enable sales and marketing, and improve performance.
  • Existing network of contacts within automotive, OEMs, procurement agencies, or major defense integrators
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, cultural intelligence for international business, and the grit to handle long sales cycles
  • Comfortable working independently in a hybrid, fast-paced environment while managing remote stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30%) for client meetings and field trials
