Job Description

Position Summary

LLH Healthcare is seeking a motivated and ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales organization. This entry level sales position is designed to develop future sales professionals by providing hands on experience across the customer journey before transitioning into a client facing sales role.

During the first several months, the Business Development Representative will gain practical experience supporting our Call Center and Implementation teams to build a strong understanding of our products, clients, systems, and service model. This foundation prepares the BDR to effectively represent LLH Healthcare in the marketplace and deliver an exceptional client experience.

Once training is complete, the Business Development Representative will join the Sales Team, initially focusing on generating new business opportunities within the staffing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spend the first 60 days supporting the Call Center to develop a thorough understanding of the member and client experience, LLH Healthcare products, CRM systems, and day to day customer interactions.
  • Spend the following 60 days working alongside the Implementation Team to learn the client onboarding process, payroll and benefits integration, and the activities that occur after a sale is closed.
  • Transition into the Sales organization, prospecting and developing new business opportunities with an initial focus on the staffing industry.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
  • Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the Sales team.
  • Maintain accurate prospect, pipeline, and activity information within the CRM.
  • Develop expertise in LLH Healthcare's products, services, and value proposition.
  • Partner with Sales, Implementation, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Meet activity, pipeline, and performance goals established by sales leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • One to three years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, account management, or a client facing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with prospective clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self motivated with a strong work ethic, competitive drive, and desire to build a successful sales career.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems is preferred.


Hired as a Junior Sales Business Development Representative

1st 60 days of employment to be spent in the call center. This is a critical learning role to client experience, product and CRM knowledge. 

2nd 60 days of employment to be spent shadowing implementation team. Critical to learn program and what is done after the sale for in onboarding.

Then move to sales under Brett for training in sales primarily in staffing. We will have her follow the new hire training for sales and once she can perform a stand alone presentation she will be promoted to Business Development Manager.
