About the Role
Vima Decor is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Representative to grow our presence in the apartment renovation and construction market. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional who thrives on building long-term partnerships and managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing. We are looking for someone who can genuinely connect with people at every level — from job site crews and property staff to ownership groups, developers, and executive leadership. The right candidate is personable, confident, adaptable, and knows how to build trust with everyone in the room. Position is based in Austin, TX 78745.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within multifamily, renovation, and construction sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, developers, contractors, and decision-makers
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, presentations, negotiations, and closing
- Conduct in-person meetings, site visits, take-offs, and product presentations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction
- Represent Vima Decor at trade shows, conferences, and networking events
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline

What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record as a strong closer and proactive seller
- Someone who is energized by networking, meeting new people, and building long-term relationships
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a hybrid role (office + field-based sales)
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
- Willingness to travel for industry events and client meetings
- Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn technical product specifications
- Someone who understands that large project sales require persistence and patience
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system is a plus
- Must be fully committed to the role (no side businesses or competing commitments preferred)

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or related field (construction, interior finishes, or building materials preferred)
- Experience managing a full sales cycle
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Occasionally lift items up to 50lbs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
