Position Summary



The Business Process Analyst supports Electrolit?s continued growth by analyzing, designing, documenting, and improving business processes across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring that business processes are clearly defined, standardized, and consistently documented to promote operational efficiency, compliance, and sustainable growth.

Working with stakeholders throughout the organization, the Business Process Analyst identifies opportunities for process improvement, translates complex workflows into clear and usable documentation, and supports the implementation and adoption of best practices. Through the development of process maps, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training materials, this role helps enhance productivity, reduce operational risk, and strengthen execution across Electrolit.

Principal Duties




  • Analyze and document current-state business processes across the organization to identify inefficiencies, risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.

  • Collect and analyze operational and performance data to identify trends impacting efficiency, quality, cost, compliance, and consistency of execution.

  • Design future-state business processes that improve clarity, standardization, efficiency, and alignment across the organization.

  • Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, flowcharts, and work instructions

  • Translate complex workflows, requirements, and business practices into clear, structured, and repeatable documentation.

  • Support process improvement initiatives by developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables in coordination with impacted stakeholders.

  • Facilitate working sessions and process design discussions to align stakeholders on process changes and implementation requirements.

  • Support the implementation of new or updated processes by coordinating activities, tracking progress, and identifying potential risks or gaps.

  • Design and prepare training materials, job aids, and communications to support effective adoption of standardized processes.

  • Deliver process training or informational sessions as needed to support understanding and compliance.

  • Monitor post-implementation performance and process adherence, recommending adjustments to improve effectiveness and sustainability.

  • Perform additional project work and duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities




  • Knowledge of business process analysis, documentation, and process improvement methodologies, with the ability to apply best practices across the organization.

  • Strong ability to analyze operational data and translate insights into clear, actionable process recommendations.

  • Advanced skills in creating process maps, SOPs, workflows, flowcharts, and work instructions using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar platforms.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience using Excel for basic data analysis.

  • Experience working with documentation repositories and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Confluence, or comparable systems.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, facilitate process discussions, and support process implementation and adoption, including training development.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and time-management skills; process improvement or business analysis certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, CBPA) are a plus but not required.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor?s degree preferred; degree in business, operations, analytics, or a related field.

  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • 2?4 years of experience in business process analysis, process documentation, operations support, or continuous improvement roles.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting organization-wide process improvement initiatives.

  • Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, process maps, and training materials.
