Job Description

The Finance Agile Release Train is looking for an individual who is a self-starter, who has experience in insurance and financial systems.  An individual who is responsible and can establish and maintain good working relationships while providing business solutions through research, analysis of data, facts, and information to influence sustainable outcomes that meet current and future needs.

  • Estimated Salary: $80,00-$93,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:



  • Lead end-to-end analysis by gathering requirements, assessing current vs. future state, conducting gap analysis, developing, testing, and implementing recommendations with stakeholders.

  • Apply deep cross-functional process, compliance, and workflow knowledge to support applications, evaluate current and future processes, and drive continuous improvements, including production support and ad hoc reporting.

  • Develop and execute high-level test strategies, including defining approaches, prioritizing test plans, conducting quality reviews, and leveraging both manual and automated testing methods.

  • Lead and advocate for effective change management by clearly communicating approaches, gaining adoption across business units, and serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Demonstrate strong business acumen and industry knowledge while influencing stakeholders, supporting meetings and events, developing materials, managing follow-ups, and continuously adopting emerging tools and technologies to improve operations.






WHAT YOU’LL BRING:



  • Ability to use current and contemporary business tools and methodologies.

  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated leadership role in business system operations, workflow analysis, business systems terminology and standards. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and be a trusted partner. Advanced knowledge of implementation processes and redesign of supporting business processes, which may include software implementation processes and process reengineering. Demonstrated experience with project management processes and tools in managing and delivering projects timely.

  • Ability to maintain flexibility and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.  Strong learning and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders/business partners.

  • Strong prioritization, organization and decision-making skills.

  • You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.

  • Remote Finance employees outside of the Omaha area must have the ability to travel occasionally (approximately 5–10% annually) to attend Finance and Actuarial events (travel reimbursed per our T&E policy).

  • Local Finance Operations Division employees are expected to be in the office more than 50% of the time beginning Q2 2027.

  • Local Finance Operations Division employees are expected to be in the office for key business activities and critical in-person events, as determined by their manager.






PREFERRED:



  • Knowledge of insurance products, the insurance industry, related legislation, and business operation procedures and practices.

  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK), Data Management Book of Knowledge (DMBOK); Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability & Requirements (ADKAR).

  • Working knowledge of test and process automation, including strong quantitative, statistical, and data analysis and interpretative skills.
