Job Description

Description

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Answer incoming calls in a polite and professional manner.
  • Screen calls efficiently on whether to transfer, schedule or take messages.
  • Schedule appointments accurately with detailed description and demographics.
  • Complete medical records requests in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Aid in facilitating patient care, referrals, directions, and/or appointments.
  • Fulfill appointment requests.
  • Timely respond to voicemails with a same day callback.
  • Make appointment reminder calls.
  • Document conversations in Epic EMR.
  • Fulfill patient communication responsibilities as requested or needed by provider.
  • Timely and accurate completion of all Epic work queues and in-basket tasks.
  • Assist in cancelling and/or rescheduling appointments.
  • Answer questions regarding patient statements. Accept payments. Create payment plans through Waystar.
  • Perform other administrative tasks relating to patient and office flow.
  • Cross-train with Medical Receptionists and Referral Coordinators.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

This is a full-time onsite position.

  • Call Center: 1 year (Required)
  • Epic EMR: 1 year (Preferred)
