Description
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Answer incoming calls in a polite and professional manner.
- Screen calls efficiently on whether to transfer, schedule or take messages.
- Schedule appointments accurately with detailed description and demographics.
- Complete medical records requests in an accurate and timely manner.
- Aid in facilitating patient care, referrals, directions, and/or appointments.
- Fulfill appointment requests.
- Timely respond to voicemails with a same day callback.
- Make appointment reminder calls.
- Document conversations in Epic EMR.
- Fulfill patient communication responsibilities as requested or needed by provider.
- Timely and accurate completion of all Epic work queues and in-basket tasks.
- Assist in cancelling and/or rescheduling appointments.
- Answer questions regarding patient statements. Accept payments. Create payment plans through Waystar.
- Perform other administrative tasks relating to patient and office flow.
- Cross-train with Medical Receptionists and Referral Coordinators.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Experience:
- Call Center: 1 year (Required)
- Epic EMR: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical office: 2 years (Required)
- Medical billing: 1 year (Required)
- Patient collections: 1 year (Required)
