Job Description

Position Summary:  This position performs a wide variety of routine and non-routine duties, some of which may be of a confidential nature, including administrative functions necessary to support the operation of the Campus ministry.



 



Ministry Department: Multisite



 



Position Reports To:  Campus Pastor



 



Hours: This is a 24-hour/week position. Attendance at all Sunday and mid-week services, special events, and staff meetings are required.



 



Responsibilities and Duties:




  1. Assist the Campus Pastor in carrying out Liberty’s Missions strategy.

  2. Assist the Campus Pastor with the campus Groups strategy by updating and maintaining the Groups database including tallying attendance and planning special events (Connection Events, leader trainings/meetings, etc.)

  3. Assist the Campus Pastor in all aspects of local Hospitality Ministry (parking, ushers, welcome team, baptism, next steps, event & media center) and managing the scheduling of these teams using Planning Center.

  4. Assist in the planning and implementation of all ministry events.



 



General Responsibilities:

  2. Faithfully maintain discretion and effectively deal with sensitive and/or confidential information of a written and spoken nature.

  3. Use independent judgment to determine work priorities.

  4. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Campus Pastor.

  5. Is a loyal staff member by cooperating with and following the leadership of the church.

  6. Follow Liberty’s policies and procedures.

  7. Work in coordination with the overall mission, goals and objectives of the church which are summarized by the mission statement “Changing Lives, Communities and the World for Jesus Christ.”
