About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Campus Project Manager to lead and oversee a variety of on-site projects, including furniture reconfigurations, office and lab moves, and other campus initiatives. This role is responsible for managing projects from initial planning through final completion while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial performance.

You will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, driving alignment, managing expectations, and delivering projects that meet or exceed objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
- Manage full project lifecycle from discovery through closeout
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and proposals
- Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery
- Monitor timelines, costs, and quality to ensure successful outcomes
- Manage change orders, risks, and issue resolution proactively
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout projects
- Communicate clearly and consistently with all stakeholders
- Understand customer goals and provide strategic guidance on project feasibility and execution
- Ensure a positive, solutions-oriented customer experience
Planning & Operations
- Develop detailed plans including labor, materials, and vendor coordination
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and customer requirements
- Utilize systems and tools (Salesforce, project tracking platforms, etc.) to manage work effectively
- Drive efficiency through proactive planning and coordination
Financial & Performance Management
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control
- Ensure projects meet company profitability standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to process improvements and standardization
- Partner with leadership to enhance project delivery methods and team effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of project management experience (commercial or operational environments)
- Experience managing field teams or blue-collar labor preferred
- Background in facilities, construction, furniture, or relocation services is a plus
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proven leadership and team coordination abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project tools or systems preferred
Work Environment & Requirements
- Fully on-site role based in Folsom, CA
- Work across office, lab, and campus environments
- Frequent walking across large facilities
- Occasional light physical activity (lifting up to 35 lbs.)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
- Valid driver’s license required
