Description
HEAD START TEACHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience with preschool age (3-5) is required.
HEAD START TEACHER ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED and Child Development Associate (CDA in Preschool) required or obtained within 18 months of hire OR Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
FLOATER REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Two (2) years of relevant work experience with infants and/or toddlers (0-3) required.
