CDL-A Regional Truck Driver Home Weekends
Job Type: Driving

We're looking for experienced CDL-A drivers based in the Elgin, IL area to join our Midwest Regional Fleet. If you want weekly home time, great pay, and a team that has your back, this is the opportunity for you.

Home Time:

• Home every weekend for your 34-hour reset — Saturday and Sunday, every week.

Pay:

• $0.57 to $0.64 per mile based on experience
• Weekly gross average $1,300 to $1,500
• Top 20% of our regional drivers earn $1,700+ per week

Miles:

• Average 2,200 to 3,000 miles per week depending on hours of service

Freight:

• 100% no-touch freight
• 50-60% drop and hook / 40-50% live unload
• Average haul 450 miles per load

Additional Pay:

• Detention pay: $12.50/hr after 2 hours
• Layover & breakdown pay: $100 per day
• Performance bonus: up to 3 additional CPM based on safety, mileage, and productivity

Sign-On Bonus:

• $4,000 paid in milestones

Equipment:

• 2022 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth T680

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A license
• Minimum 21 years of age
• At least 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, trailers over 40 feet
• No major moving violations in the past 3 years
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
