Job Description

Job Summary

CDL-A Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver are responsible for the safe, compliant, and timely delivery of freight across routes. DOT-regulated responsibilities. Weekly or 2-week shuttles are performed with a co-driver, and a comfortable double sleeper cab. 3 weeks ON - 1 week OFF schedule. Not familiar with fine art? If you're an experienced driver with a clean record, good with your hands, and looking to learn a new skill, we'll provide all the training necessary for you to learn our industry.

Who should apply: Pro drivers with a valid CDL, 1 year of experience (preferred), and an interest in learning skills beyond the steering wheel.

All candidates must be able to pass pre-employment background check, as well as required Department of Transportation drug screen upon hire.

Loading and unloading your truck is required. Most freight consists of pre-packed and/or pre-crated objects, and our drivers are supplied with all necessary materials & handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class A or Class B commercial vehicle over long distances, ensuring safe and legal operation at all times
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Maintain accurate driver logs using ELD (Electronic Logging Device)
  • Deliver freight securely and on time, coordinating with dispatch for routing and scheduling
  • Adhere to OSHA and DOT safety standards, including hours of service, vehicle weight limits
  • Report any safety incidents, vehicle defects, or delays promptly
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, clients, and team members as needed

 

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications 

  • Valid CDL Class A or Class B license 
  • Clean MVR
  • Must be able to pass DOT Physical. 
  • 1+ years of verifiable OTR driving experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT safety protocols
  • Familiarity with ELD systems (Samsara)
  • Able to drive long distances, work flexible schedules, and stay overnight as required
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for minor truck troubleshooting
  • Excellent time management, navigation, and communication skills
