Job Description: 

CDL Water Truck Driver (Tanker Endorsement)

The CDL Water Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a water truck to support construction activities, including dust control, soil compaction, and site maintenance. The ideal candidate must possess a valid CDL Class A or B license with a Tanker Endorsement, maintain equipment in a safe operating condition, and follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a water truck safely on construction sites and public roadways.
• Perform dust control and water distribution as directed.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Monitor water levels and ensure proper truck operation.
• Report equipment issues and maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and DOT requirements.
• Assist Foremen and field crews with general labor, site preparation, and construction-related tasks when water truck operations are not required.
• Support project operations as needed to help ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or B license with Tanker Endorsement.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Construction or water truck experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Willingness to assist with field operations and labor duties as needed.
