Hollings Cancer Center Clinic is a busy adult oncology clinic where the CMA primarily works in the patient triage role rooming patients, obtaining HT/WT, Vital Signs, reviewing medications, screening questions, room turnover, obtaining EKGs, assisting procedures, and more! They are the first "eyes and ears" on the patient and works closely with the primary clinical team to care for the patients during their clinic visit.Entity

Additional Job Description
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited medical assistant program with six months of CMA/RMA experience required. Must be certified through the American Medical Technologist (AMT) or American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Health career Association (NHA) or MedCA as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
