Additional Super User tasks:
Works with the Epic Training Team to provide long-term operational support for end users in their department. The Super User answers questions regarding functionality, assists the training team with end-user training, and serves as a liaison between end users, project teams, and department leaders. The Super User accepts this assignment in addition to their current duties as assigned by job role
Participate in monthly Epic Evolve Program meetings held by the Epic Training Team
Provide at-the-elbow support for all users within area of expertise, as defined
Act as point person for end-user training questions. Work with the IT Team to prioritize issues
Work with Epic Training, Epic IS and department SME’s (subject matter experts) to represent and reinforce optimized application use
Assist with training and job shadow opportunities for new employees adjusting to the system
Participate in ongoing training regarding system changes and upgrades
Validate end user’s knowledge and essential skills as needed, to assist with optimized training programs
Represent end-user and department leader’s concerns and requests by providing feedback to the project teams
Help newly appointed Super Users in your department on role guidelines and procedures, if applicable and as needed
Additional Super User Qualifications:
2 years of experience using Epic Software in the healthcare industry
1 year of experience as a current employee at YVFWC
Experience in onboarding, training, and/or mentoring new employees to your department (Preferred)
Must complete Epic Evolve-Super User Training within 60 days of contingency offer
Ability to attend quarterly Epic learning opportunities for application area supporting
Ability to travel to remote sites, to support go live activities or training support
Spanish-speaking skills are preferred at a level 10
