Job Summary: Symbios Health on Hilton Head Island is seeking a compassionate Nurse (RN/LPN) or Medical Assistant to join our primary care and women’s health practice. You will work closely with a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care that aligns with our mission of integrating primary care, fitness, nutrition, and aesthetics. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care and women’s health services, including routine exams, preventive care, and patient education on health, movement, and nutrition.

  • Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering injections, collecting lab specimens, and preparing patients for examinations.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) to support personalized care plans.

  • Offer empathetic, supportive communication to patients, helping them feel empowered to achieve their wellness goals.

  • Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, including fitness and nutrition guidance, to promote measurable improvements in daily living.

  • Coordinate patient care, including scheduling follow-ups, managing referrals, and collaborating with external providers to ensure a seamless experience.

  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to beauty and wellness.

  • Collaborate with the Symbios Health team to integrate holistic care practices and enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • For Nurse: Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in South Carolina.

  • For Medical Assistant: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification (CMA or RMA) preferred but not required.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting (primary care, women’s health, or wellness-focused practices preferred).

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to connect with patients empathetically and support their holistic wellness journey.

  • Proficiency with electronic health records and basic medical software.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven team environment.

  • BLS/CPR certification required.
