POSITION SUMMARY:
The Certified Medical Assistant performs patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a physician. The CMA is also responsible for clerical duties, when needed, to facilitate departmental operations and efficiency.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- CMA certification from an accredited program, required
- BLS/CPR certification, preferred
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Highly organized and detail oriented; particularly in regard to time management
- Ability to prioritize key objectives while performing daily tasks as well as the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to effectively utilize applicable electronic systems and programs

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
