Certified Medication Aide


We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assist in providing high-quality patient care by administering medications and supporting residents' health and well-being. Key Responsibilities:

- Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with state and facility regulations

- Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report any concerns to nursing staff

- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support

- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation

- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures

- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive resident care

- Educate residents and their families about medication routines and potential side effects


Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid Certified Medication Aide certification in the relevant state

- Prior experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting preferred

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality

- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
