Certified Nursing Assistant

**$2500 Sign on Bonus**

40 Bed Skilled Unit

3pm-11pm Full Time

At Lake Prince Woods, a continuing care retirement community, we are hiring staff for the following position:

Lake Prince Woods is a growing not for profit CCRC located in Suffolk. We have within our community a dedicated assisted living area, memory support area, Healthcare Unit and Home Health. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct resident care, assisting the resident to reach and maintain the highest level of functioning in accordance with physician’s orders, company and industry standards and federal and state regulations.

The Caregiver-Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct resident care, assisting the resident to reach and maintain the highest level of functioning under the direction of a Registered Nurse in accordance with physician’s orders, company and industry standards and federal and state regulations. Encourages and promotes resident’s ability to adapt and adjust to living independently as speedily and safely as possible.

Minimal Education:

High School graduate or G.E.D.

Minimal Experience:

Minimum of three (3) months work experience in basic nursing procedures for nursing assistants. Will consider new grads.

Other Qualifications:

Successfully completed the Certified Nursing Assistant program and has current certification and required in-services.

Minimum age of 16 years or older is required for this position due to Department of Labor regulations.
