Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team on night shift. Available shifts include 2 pm to 10 pm and 6 pm to 6 am. The ideal candidate will have experience providing care to residents in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Duties
Provide personalized care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and their families, fostering a sense of comfort and well-being.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare professionals.
Assist with mobility needs, including safe transfers to and from beds or wheelchairs, to promote independence and dignity.
Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans, leveraging expertise and knowledge to deliver exceptional care.
Experience
Prior experience with medical documentation systems is a valuable asset.
Experience in specialized areas, such as memory care or hospice care, is beneficial in delivering high-quality patient care.
