Currently, we are looking to add a Chemical Handling Specialist to the team:
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for weighing, aliquoting, maintaining inventory, and entering newly processed inventory
- Ensure quality control level of products according to Cayman’s standards
- Entry of necessary data into database system in a timely fashion
- General upkeep of the work area and maintenance of equipment
- Report status of work to supervisor regularly
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, plans, and procedures including safety, security, and regulatory
- Assist in other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, biology, or related field preferred
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ability to learn an ERP system
- Ability to sit in one spot for long periods of time
- Ability to prioritize tasks, be organized, and pay attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently
- Availability to work on-site in Ann Arbor
