Housekeeping / Cleaning Professional – Manufacturing Facility

Position Title: Housekeeping / Cleaning Professional
Location: Lewisburg, WV
Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible schedule

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining restrooms, break rooms, offices, common areas, and other public spaces while ensuring all areas meet company cleanliness and safety standards.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, offices, and other common areas.
  • Vacuum carpets and rugs throughout the facility.
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain hard-surface flooring.
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners as needed.
  • Restock restroom and break room supplies, including paper products, soap, and cleaning materials.
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, tables, counters, and handrails.
  • Maintain cleanliness in entrances, hallways, and other public areas.
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and cleaning protocols.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.
