The Role

We’re looking for a Client Account Executive (CAE) to serve as a trusted advisor and consultative sales partner to a portfolio of credit union clients. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, client retention, and product adoption within Sharetec’s existing customer base.


As a CAE, you’ll build deep relationships with credit union stakeholders, develop and execute account strategies, lead contract renewals, and identify expansion opportunities — all while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver value and ensure long-term client success.


Position Details

This is a full-time, exempt position. Candidates may work remotely from anywhere in the United States, with the exception of California. Candidates based in the Eastern time zone are strongly preferred. Travel is expected at approximately 50%.


The starting salary range for this position is $65,000 – $75,000 base salary, plus commission, offering strong earning potential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Retention

  • Own and grow a book of business through renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets through client growth and retention strategies
  • Lead contract renewal conversations and manage negotiations in collaboration with internal teams

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at credit union clients
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients maximize the value of their Sharetec investment
  • Drive product adoption and identify opportunities to improve client operational efficiency

Strategic Account Execution

  • Develop and execute account plans and sales strategies aligned to client needs and Sharetec’s offerings
  • Leverage CRM tools and data insights to manage pipeline, improve forecasting, and optimize performance
  • Conduct regular client reviews and strategic planning conversations

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, product, support, and implementation teams to deliver client value
  • Serve as the internal voice of the client and advocate for their needs across departments
  • Follow proper escalation protocols to ensure timely and effective issue resolution


Qualified Candidates Should Have

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success, preferably in SaaS or financial services
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets through client retention and expansion
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Consultative sales approach with strong strategic and analytical thinking
  • Experience managing a portfolio of accounts while maintaining high-quality relationships
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and comfort using data to guide decisions
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred

  • Credit union, community banking, or financial services industry experience
  • Core processing, digital banking, or financial technology experience
  • Experience conducting QBRs or strategic account reviews
  • Familiarity with contract renewal processes and negotiation
