Masarna is an embedded recruiting partner for startups and growing companies that need senior recruiting execution without hiring a full-time internal recruiter.

We help companies run sourcing, screening, candidate follow-up, interview coordination, and weekly hiring updates inside their existing ATS, Slack, inbox, and calendar.

We are not a traditional staffing agency, job board, or recruiter marketplace. Masarna acts like an extension of the client’s hiring team.

About the Role

Masarna is looking for a Client Acquisition Partner to help bring in new client relationships.

In this role, you will identify companies that need recruiting support, start conversations with decision-makers, qualify opportunities, and help introduce Masarna’s embedded recruiting model to the right buyers.

The ideal client is a startup, founder-led company, or growing business with open roles but no strong internal recruiting function.

This is a commission-based opportunity with uncapped earning potential.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify potential clients that need recruiting support

  • Build prospect lists of founders, CEOs, COOs, Heads of People, Talent Leaders, and hiring managers

  • Conduct outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels

  • Start conversations with qualified decision-makers

  • Understand the client’s hiring needs, open roles, urgency, and current recruiting challenges

  • Explain Masarna’s embedded recruiting model clearly and professionally

  • Book qualified discovery calls for Masarna

  • Help move qualified opportunities from first conversation to signed agreement

  • Track outreach, conversations, follow-ups, and deal status

  • Follow up consistently with prospects until they are ready to move forward

  • Bring in both retainer-based clients and contingent search opportunities when applicable

Ideal Client Profile

You will be selling to companies that may have:

  • 1–5 active open roles

  • No internal recruiter

  • A founder or hiring manager spending too much time on recruiting

  • Agencies sending low-quality or poorly matched candidates

  • A slow or messy hiring process

  • Urgent hiring needs for technical, GTM, AI, product, leadership, or operational roles

  • A need for recruiting help but not enough volume to hire a full-time recruiter

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in sales, business development, recruiting, staffing, HR services, SaaS, consulting, or B2B services

  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to explain a service-based offer clearly

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

  • Organized enough to track prospects, follow-ups, and deal progress

  • Comfortable speaking with founders, executives, and hiring leaders

  • Persistent without being pushy

  • Professional, credible, and consultative

  • Able to understand business pain and connect it to a clear solution

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling recruiting, staffing, HR, SaaS, consulting, or professional services

  • Existing network of startup founders, business owners, hiring managers, recruiters, or HR leaders

  • Experience with LinkedIn outreach, cold email, phone prospecting, or appointment setting

  • Understanding of recruiting models such as retained search, contingent search, RPO, fractional recruiting, or embedded recruiting

  • Familiarity with startup hiring needs across engineering, GTM, product, operations, and leadership roles
