About the Role

At Helping Hands Family, clinic leadership is about creating the conditions for children, families, and clinical teams to thrive. We’re seeking a Clinic Director who is energized by mission-driven work, passionate about developing people, and ready to lead day-to-day clinic operations with both heart and accountability. In this role, you’ll help build a strong, high-performing team while ensuring our clinical staff can deliver exceptional care to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Our Leadership Philosophy: “Take care of the kids. Take care of the team. The business will take care of itself.”

The Clinic Director is a critical bridge between operations and clinical leadership, ensuring that business performance and quality care work hand in hand.

What You’ll Do

  • Own clinic performance across utilization, productivity, staffing, and service delivery.
  • Use data to guide scheduling, capacity planning, and operational improvements.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Clinical Supervisors, Office Managers, BCBAs, and RBTs.
  • Build an accountable, collaborative team culture with strong leadership depth.
  • Partner with clinical leaders to align operations with quality care and client outcomes.
  • Ensure staffing and schedules support clinical needs and treatment requirements.
  • Champion a positive, family-centered experience.
  • Resolve escalated concerns with urgency, empathy, and accountability.
  • Manage clinic budgets and expenses to meet financial targets.
  • Connect operational decisions to financial performance and key KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, documentation standards, and internal policies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 6+ years of operational leadership experience in healthcare or a service-based environment.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, drive performance, communicate clearly, solve problems, and work onsite full-time.

Preferred:

  • Experience in ABA, pediatric behavioral health, or multi-site healthcare operations.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems, such as CentralReach.
