Large cardiology clinic adding Medical Assistants to the team!

The Medical Assistant provides in all aspects of patient flow while maintaining a high quality of patient care in a compassionate manner.  Daily responsibilities may include rooming patients, performing routine office procedures and testing, administering medications, injections, and vaccinations, telephone messaging, participating in and providing documentation of patient education, and communicating effectively with others.

Solid attendance and punctuality along with willingness to help co-workers and working as a team are vital for success in this role.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred; MA registry or certification preferred.  BLS required.  At least one year of experience in a medical office preferred, medical terminology and EMR experience.
