Clinical Care Coordinator / Receptionist

Job Summary
The Clinical Care Coordinator/Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients while supporting both front-office and basic clinical coordination tasks. This role ensures smooth daily operations, excellent patient service, and efficient scheduling within a podiatric clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients, answer phones, and schedule appointments
- Verify insurance, collect payments, and maintain accurate patient records
- Coordinate patient flow and assist with appointment follow-ups and referrals
- Support basic clinical tasks such as preparing rooms and updating charts
- Communicate with providers, patients, and outside offices to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk and reception area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer and electronic health record (EHR) knowledge
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
Work Environment
Small podiatry clinic setting with both administrative and light clinical duties.
