Position Summary/Responsibilities
The Emergency Services Clinical Manager oversees clinical functions within the Emergency Services (ES) department by providing preadmission screening assessments, overseeing the care of clients in CITAC custody, supervising, and consulting with staff, and ensuring proper documentation and social cohesion. Additionally, this role includes administrative and managerial tasks such as scheduling, chart audits, staff evaluations, performance reviews, and addressing staff concerns and disciplinary issues.
Hiring Range
The anticipated base salary for this position is $65,515.28 to $81,894.10. Actual compensation offered within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities), geographic location, complexity of role, and other relevant business considerations. We kindly ask that candidates do not discuss compensation until after an offer of employment is extended.
Requirements
- Education: This position requires a master's degree in a human services field that fulfills the criteria for eligibility for professional licensure as a professional counselor or clinical social worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience required which includes attainment of licensure. Eligible to provide board approved clinical supervision for licensed-type individuals after 2 years licensure. Experience working in an emergency services program preferred.
- Licensure/Certifications: Licensed in the State of Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Background Check: Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection.
- Safe Driving Record: This position requires transporting clients or driving agency vehicles. Candidates must have a good driving record, which is defined as no more than two moving violations in the last three years and no criminal moving violations in the last five years.
Special Work Conditions
This role requires the ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and partners, both verbally and in writing. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position for portions of the workday, move throughout office or community settings, and operate a computer and standard office equipment. The position may occasionally require lifting or transporting materials or supplies up to 10 pounds. This role may require participation in trauma Informed physical practices, such as standing, positioning, and de-escalation techniques, when such activities are essential to the position. These functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
