We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting the health and well-being of seniors, have strong clinical assessment skills, and be able to work collaboratively with both our clinical and non-clinical teams.
Position Summary:
The Clinical Nurse Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical leadership, oversight, and supervision of resident care services within the community. This position is one of two Clinical Nurse Supervisor roles and works in close partnership with the second Clinical Nurse Supervisor each day to ensure consistent clinical operations, regulatory compliance, resident-centered care, and staff support.
Together, the Clinical Nurse Supervisors provide shared leadership of the clinical department, partnering closely with the Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD), healthcare providers, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. This collaborative leadership structure provides continuity of care, comprehensive support for staff, and consistent clinical decision-making across the community.
Requirements
Essential Responsibilities:
· - Provide clinical oversight and supervision of nursing services within the community.
· - Collaborate daily with the second Clinical Nurse Supervisor to oversee resident care, clinical operations, and staff support.
· - Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and ongoing evaluations of health status and care needs.
· - Develop, implement, and oversee individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
· - Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely interventions, treatments, and follow-up care.
· - Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, assisted living requirements, infection control standards, and facility policies.
· - Participate in resident case conferences, care reviews, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
· - Coach and mentor unlicensed clinical staff
· - Collaborate with the LALD, second Clinical Nurse Supervisor, and leadership team to address resident care concerns, staffing needs, and operational objectives.
Summary
Position Requirements
- · Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- · Successful completion of Minnesota Department of Human Services background study.
Preferred Qualifications
- · Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in assisted living, long-term care, memory care, geriatrics, or skilled nursing.
Schedule
- · Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- · Participate in a shared on-call rotation - serving as the point of contact for our contracted triage company, which provides clinical support to our community after-hours, on weekends, and holidays.
- · This position is one of two Clinical Nurse Supervisors who work side-by-side and collaboratively on a daily basis.
