WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Safely transport oversized/overweight loads including heavy construction equipment, machinery, and industrial cargo
- Operate lowboy, RGN, step-deck, and flatbed trailers
- Perform pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Secure loads using chains, binders, and straps
- Obtain and follow all state oversize/overweight permits and routing
- Maintain accurate logbooks (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch, customers, and pilot car escorts
- Keep truck clean and report mechanical issues promptly
- Perform basic roadside repairs as needed
WHAT YOU NEED
- Valid Class A CDL — REQUIRED
- Clean MVR and current DOT Medical Card — REQUIRED
- Minimum 5 years Class A driving experience
- Minimum 2 years heavy haul / oversized load experience
- Experience with lowboy, RGN, step-deck, and/or flatbed equipment
- Strong knowledge of load securement regulations
- Ability to read and follow permit routes
- Must pass DOT drug & alcohol screening
