The selected candidate will support software development activities for the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Research and Development Human Factors Lab (RDHFL) laboratory at the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) in Pomona, NJ. Candidates should possess a foundation in software engineering and programming concepts.
- Participate in software development, testing, integration, and troubleshooting activities
- Develop and maintain software applications utilizing a variety of programming languages and technologies
- Support research, prototyping, and simulation activities, including projects utilizing the Godot game engine
- Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to develop innovative solutions supporting FAA research initiatives
FAA Security Onboarding and Start Date:
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a Position of Public Trust. Candidates should be aware that completion of the FAA security onboarding process may require two or more months prior to beginning work.
Work Location Requirement:
This role requires full-time onsite support at the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) in Pomona, NJ. Remote work is not supported for this position.
