ServiceMaster of Portland is an employee-owned company, WPE INC., and has been servicing the Portland Metro area in disaster restoration for over 50 years. We are currently growing and need to add a couple positions to our team including a Construction Project Manager/Estimator. The Construction PM is responsible for estimating, managing and billing assigned jobs. As a Construction PM you are hands on both in the field and office. The Construction PM is the main point of contact for both the insurance company and customer. If you are a compassionate person who likes to work with people and solve problems this could be a great position for you. You will constantly be thinking on your feet making educated decisions on the fly all while caring for your customers who are experiencing a loss of some kind at home.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write job estimates through Xactimate and navigate company specific software
- Possess insurance industry specific knowledge to effectively plan, direct, supervise project objectives
- Manage relationship between insurance representatives, homeowners, vendors and subcontractors
- Maintain written and oral communication with clients, teammates, vendors and insurance representatives.
- Have a can do attitude and ability to think on your feet and make educated decisions
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in project management/estimating, in the construction industry
- Knowledge of residential building codes and the remodeling process
- Professional communication skills and ability to adapt to the situation
- Tech-savviness ability to learn multiple software application effectively
- Active Driver License & Clean Driving Record

Physical Demands:
- Ability to walk/stand/sit for prolonged periods of time

- You will be working in an office setting along with on job sites. Job sites may have no electricity/water and could be in hazardous conditions
