Job Description

Contract Exercise Director

Location: Ft. Sill, OK
Position Type: Onsite

Summary:

The Contract Exercise Director is responsible for managing, planning, and directing training events that utilize constructive simulations in support of the Military Decision Making and Planning (MDMP) process. This role requires applying simulations, simulators, models, and games for training and education purposes, as well as integrating C4I applications and mission command systems with JLCCTC simulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in exercise direction, simulation-based training, and conducting After Action Reviews in a constructive simulations environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and at least three years of experience managing, planning, and directing training events utilizing constructive simulations in support of the MDMP process.

  • Three years of experience in applying simulations, simulators, models, and games for training and education purposes.

  • Three years of experience linking C4I applications and mission command systems (Appendix A) with the JLCCTC Ver. 8.1 or JLCCTC-ERF simulation.

  • One year of experience using the most recent version of Microsoft Operating Systems (e.g., Win 7/10), Microsoft Office Applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Professional 2013), and other common desktop applications such as Adobe Acrobat. Ability to quickly learn unique applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience conducting After Action Reviews in a Constructive Simulations environment.

  • Completion of After Action Review System (AARS) Operator training is preferred.

  • Completion of a WARSIM Operator training course is preferred.
